If you note the date of this post, it’s the same as the last one, meaning three flights in one day! After going solo we still had quite a bit of time as those flights were quite short. So I went up again with my instructor and flew down to the south west for some general handling.

We did a steep turn to the right then one to the left, then I did one practiced forced landing and flew back to Plymouth, joined the circuit and landed perfectly.

For the entire flight my instructor did nothing except tell me where to go e.g. ‘down to the south west somewhere”, and “I think we’ll head back to Plymouth now” It was a very good flight, felt totally in control and confident in what I was doing for the whole thing.
