In this lesson I went up with my instructor for an hour practicing radio navigation, this is where you tune certain frequencies into the radio and you can get the instruments to point you to an airfield, or give you a bearing and distance from a place so that you can plot your exact location on the map, we were flying in between Tavistock and Launceston, tracking radials from Berry Head.

It was really interesting to see how accurately you could pinpoint your location. Once we were done, we rejoined the circuit from Tavistock, and landed.
