In this lesson I had the second half of my navigation briefing - all about knowing where you will roughly be after certain times, including how to calculate things like the wind drift so that you know which heading to fly for the aircraft to follow the intended track along the ground, and the differences between airspeed and groundspeed, and how to calculate that.

I then went up for 3/4 hour to have a look at what the features on the map look like form the air, I went over to Brentor gliding school again then over to Lymmington, down to Saltash and then flew over my house, before landing smoothly on runway 31.
